How to use Yesa battery repair machine to quickly select bad NiMH prismatic cells from recycled packs?
As more garage business men are now using Yesa ACTS20V5A machine to repair & recondition Toyota original prismatic cells after recycled them from customers’ Hev, some garages have large amount of cells in packs need quick solutions to identify already faulty ones and dispose them for not wasting some 16 hours full cycle of the reparation process. Here is the solution:
Just access to Yesa machine software, choose work step:
7.2v Ni-MH 3A Disch 2.5A Cha Battery before Install to car.tplx

Then push start run button for 8 hours of 2 cycles of discharge and charge process, download data for analysis and choosing the faulty cells from result per below criteria:
1.For those cells with capacity < 3000 mAh, just dispose them as now value for further repair,
2.For those cells with capacity >3000 mAh, you can put them again in 4-5 cycles running again for full reparation.
After some good cells shortlisted from quick selection, you need to regroup them and choose right work step to run reparation process again and most them will be your good cells for regroup into different packs for resell. The most important criteria here is to ensure the cells in new pack should always with capacity difference < 200 mAh, or the pack will run quickly faulty due to imbalanced level between the cells.
